Holiday — it would be so nice
Yes it would Madonna , but with the world in its current state, we’re more likely to be bored than travelling abroad. Can IP help us?

Lockdown restrictions may have eased slightly, but we still can’t go anywhere. So as summer rolls around, we’ll all be forced to make do taking a break closer to home, and now there is a word for it: Staycation.
The portmanteau of “stay” and “vacation” was first used in 1944 but became widely used during 2008 as the first summer travel season after the global financial crisis began; with money tight and petrol/gas prices reaching record highs many people to cut back on expenses including travel.
Following the success of the list of IP to get you through the lockdown, here’s another list if things you may find useful when holidaying at home:
If we going to be stuck in the garden and not able to visit the beach, a pool will be a must. GB2457065 — “A collapsable portable paddling pool” is great as it is foldable, not inflatable, and let’s face it, nobody knows where their foot pump is so always ends up nearly passing out blowing them up manually.
Everybody loves an ice cream, and everybody loves a unicorn, put the two together and you get USD869819 — “Ice cream cone”
Paired with homemade unicorn ice cream (recipe by bread booze bacon), and you’re sure to brighten everyone’s day.
Sticking with the garden theme, a good BBQ will be a must for any party at home. We’ve already written about the history of the barbecue so here’s something a little more contemporary CN110179362 — “Barbecue operating system of internet of things and management electric barbecue oven”. A truly smart device with temperature monitors, emergency stop, Bluetooth speaker connectivity and USB charging — it sounds more like an iPhone that can cook than a BBQ.
If your usual holiday includes a relaxing spa retreat, perhaps a spot of yoga will help. in 2010 YogaGlo were awarded a patent US8605152 — “Method and apparatus for yoga class imaging and streaming”. The patent doesn’t go into any details of yoga positions, but figure 4 certainly has enough ideas to keep you interested for a while.
To quote Madonna again:
… you can turn this world around, and bring back all of those happy days...
